In addition to Kin-Week specific tools, the CKA / ACK is proud to release a new tool kit created to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration between Kinesiologists and allied healthcare professionals: A Tool Kit for Chronic Disease Specialists (CDS). Packed with lots of useful information - including a how-to for developing partnerships with allied health care professionals and best practices for Kinesiology in CDS - the tool kit will be useful to Kinesiologists working in many areas of practice.
Additionally, we have developed marketing materials to help Kinesiologists market themselves as CDS specialists: a large poster that can be displayed at the worksite or in the offices of allied healthcare professionals; a bookmark explaining the benefits of Kinesiology for CDS for physicians to hand out to patients; a prescription pad for physicians to refer patients to a Kinesiologist.
