Since there are different time zones in Canada, the case deadlines are announced in the three main time zones. 

It all begins on November 12 2021 at:

PT: 08 a.m.    ET: 11 a.m.    AT: 12 p.m.

 

 

Fee Structure

The registration fee structure has been built to be inclusive and affordable for participants. This will give everyone the opportunity to also access the 2021 Kin Can Conference at a very reasonable price, experience our new virtual series event and connect with each other.  

 

Register as a team:

Students: $20 / pers.
Consulting Resources (e.g. Professor-Mentor, Kinesiologist, Researcher) : $20 / pers.

The registration process will require you to have read and accept this waiver.

To register a team, you must register:

  • three (3) students, one prof (mentor), one researcher and one practicing Kinesiologists (consultants). Although the researcher and practising Kinesiologists may change from case to case, your original registration must include one of each.
  • a student is one currently in its 3rd or 4th year attending an undergraduate degree in a kinesiology, human kinetics or physical activity university program.

The team rate offers a "Post COVID-19 Rebate" of 60% off the regular rate of $50, for a total of $20 per person. You must register all team members and pay in one payment for all team members ($20 x 6 pers).

When registrating, you will need to register one team member as the manager. This manager will be the key contact person for the team. Make sure you have the information of all your team members BEFORE you start your registration.

The price for registration covers all conference days of the Kin Can Conference; no one-day rate available.

It also gives you access to the Kin Case Competition as a spectator on Nov. 24 and 26 at 19h30ET, Nov. 27 at 16hET for the Finals, and the Canadian Kinesiology Awards on Nov. 28th at 16hET.

All transactions are subject to an administration fee, plus applicable taxes and a transaction fee.

Cancellation Policy

Members and Students Rate: No refund at any time.

Non-Members Rate: Cancellations received:

  • 30+ Days Before Event: No cancellation penalties.
  • 7-29 Days Before Event: Incurs a $ 5.00 administrative charge of the total event registration fee (plus applicable taxes).
  • Less than 5 Days Before Event: No refunds.

No-shows: No refund or credits will be given for no-shows nor partial participation. 

Cancellation must be received by email to info@cka.ca before Nov. 18th 23h59 ET.
