The U of A’s Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation (KSR) is dedicated to high quality research and education in physical activity, sport, and recreation.  Reporting to the Provost & Vice-President (Academic), the Dean is accountable for the Faculty’s strategic vision, for fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and equitable culture, for ensuring the academic quality and integrity of its programs and operations, for championing fundraising efforts and outreach, and for enhancing the Faculty’s research profile. The ideal candidate will be a strong scholar with a PhD, appointable to the rank of Full Professor, and will have significant administrative experience earned in a complex environment.
